Senior Software Engineer

Role: Senior Software Engineer (Backend)
Tech Stack : Java/ SpringBoot

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Manage and optimize database systems (schema design, performance tuning, data integrity checks)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for smooth integration and delivery
• Develop automation scripts using Shell and Python for routine operational tasks
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and Chef
• Containerize applications using Docker and maintain container workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Frontend, DevOps)
• Monitor application/infrastructure performance, respond to alerts, and resolve issues proactively

🔹 Requirements

Backend Development

• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices

Database Management

• Strong DBA skills including SQL tuning, data modeling, and backup strategies
• In-depth understanding of relational databases, schema design, and SQL optimization

DevOps & Automation

• Proven experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD automation
• Proficiency in Docker and container lifecycle management
• Configuration management using Chef (or similar tools)
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Strong scripting skills in Shell and Python

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
• Experience building production enterprise applications
• 4+ years for Senior Software Engineer

Nice-to-have / Additional Skills

• Performance optimization, enterprise integration principles, and modern deployment strategies (containerization)
• Debugging production issues across distributed systems
• Familiarity with data streaming tools (e.g., Kafka) is a plus
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (or similar orchestration platforms)
• Familiarity with Scrum Agile delivery environments
• Familiarity with Quality Engineering processes and practices
• Familiarity with Oracle Databases
• Excellent communication skills
