What You Will Be Working On
- Leading efforts in defining test strategies, test planning, and reviews
- Improving and maintaining test automation frameworks
- Reviewing and contributing to the development of automation scripts
- Configuring and maintaining continuous integration pipelines
- Overseeing and managing test execution and communicating test statuses to stakeholders
- Mentoring, training, and leading a team of Quality Engineers
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent qualification with 5–7 years of industry experience
- Hands-on experience in UI and API test automation using open-source tools such as Selenium, REST Assured, etc.
- Experience in performance engineering and working with performance testing tools
- Strong knowledge of software testing processes, best practices, and test design techniques
- Proficiency in Java, solid understanding of OOP concepts, and adherence to coding standards
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git
- Experience in testing middle-tier and service-oriented architectures using tools like Rest-Assured
- Solid practical understanding of Agile software testing and general software engineering concepts
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Professional certifications such as ISTQB, PMI-ACP, or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) would be an added advantage
- A thirst for learning and willingness to regularly update knowledge would also be an asset
